It seems there is an issue with the 1h/3h view. See attached, wed 14:00 one time it rains, next time it doesnt?Screenshot 2024-06-05 at 10.55.02.png Screenshot 2024-06-05 at 10.55.07.png

        for explanation.
Practicaly those amounts are "traces of rain"
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trace
        (precipitation)

@Gkikas-LGPZ Thanks for clarification. That makes sense. Is there also a way to get rain probablity shown? weathermodels usually come with it and websites also show it, but windy seems not to have that function?

Windy don't show (yet) probability charts.
And I'm very sceptical for the usefulness
as the interpretation would be sometimes tricky.

How do you interpret probability 12% for rain?
12% of 0.2mm/3hr is the same with 12% of 50mm/3hr?
            Of course not!

            What about 5% of 1mm/3hr, 50% of 0,2 mm/3hr and 90% of 0.1mm/3hr?
Will you take an umbrella with you?

@Gkikas-LGPZ concerning the practicability it would seem to me more useful in a general sense. 15% chance oof some rain? I would go to the flying area. 75%? Imay rethink, 90%, I d make alternative plans. Especially when it comes to travelling it may help

A way to estimate the uncertainty of the forecast in Windy is to check the “Compare forecasts” table, below the point forecast panel. If all models show a similar prediction there is a good chance that the event occurs.
