Favorites icon not on map

I can't imagine this question hasn't already been asked but there doesn't seem to be a way to search FAQs or this forum so: According to the Favorites icon a favorite can be saved by clicking anywhere on the map and then clicking the favorites icon next to the search bar. The only icon next to the search bar is the share icon.

@Bill-Mortensen Hi, if you open the forecast detail for that location, the heart button shows up and then it is possible.

Nope... NO its not. They dont show up... Oddly they only went AWAY when I purchased Windy....

@Suty Where is "forcast detail"? I have forecasted weather which doesn't seem to change anything but I do not see "forecast detail". It is frustrating that the instructions they show in the app do not work. Why are those instructions still there? (Probably a question you can't answer"

Your Favorites are already displayed.
@Bill-Mortensen needs first to enable them. See my screenshot here above.
“Forecasted weather” allows to see values under the town names in connection with the displayed layer (wind, rain…)
