Weather of the past

is it possible to see how the weather was in a certain place in the past? Like: How was the weather in Marbella, Spain in January of this year.
Would be interesting to study future travel plans on longterm.

Hi,This is not possible in Windy.
I doubt that by looking at the weather in January last year in Marbella, you can really deduce the weather you will find on your next stay. The inter-annual climate variability does not allow conclusions to be drawn from a single month of January. The exercise would have to be repeated for several years. And it would be very tedious to review the forecasts of the different models day by day for at least 10 or 20 years. On Windy the data are essentially forecasts and not observations.
Or it would need that Windy compile past data from weather stations all over the world. -
When I bought the premium license, one of the primary sales argument were that data would be available for a year back. It would be useful for see and illustrate development over a year of new snow in Arctic, movement and weather over a year in the Doldrums, Monsuns in SE Asia and much more.
But I can't find the promised data for a year!! Where and how is it available???
