Please bring back the height option like the old version.

Very nice version, however as with the last version, the forecast location needs to have a lock on it so it will not move. Many times I have had the forecast location move or disappear when moving the map with the hand or enlarging the map to see incoming wind and rain from the sea. Very frustrating to have to zoom in and re-acquire the location over and over. But I like the new version!

Hi,
I see one gray line on map (Waves)

Many folks who use Windyty are cruising yacht sailors like myself. We use forecasts to plan our voyages and to make decisions for the safety of our crew and yacht. Windyty is a very good product that offers excellent forecasting via its two models. I have two immediate items to note
- Windyty is only available with an internet connection. At sea a majority of yachts do not have internet (we are well outside the range of any wifi) and thus need to rely on other forecast providers who can provide forecasts via email (downloaded and then the file uploaded into the grib software). Cruising sailors would benefit greatly from your product if Windyty can provide such service. A small fee would not be unreasonable for such a service.
- Lat and Long needs to have the degrees displayed. For example, Im going to the Marquesas Islands and these are difficult to locate on your map. I can however find them if I Have the degrees lat and long.

Hi Ivo,
I have been using Windytv to program sailing passages around the world for a long time, love the new beta, thanks.I note that others already suggested what I would like, so I just re-confirm:
1- be able to increase the play speed to get a quick overall idea of the next few days.
2- increase size of colour chart on lower right corner
3- white labels on right are intrusive, perhaps could be transparent??
4- when playing the loop, I find it difficult to see the Date/Time while looking at the wind, could you think of a way to display, in large font, the "Date/Time" in a transparent window that the user can shift around or close?Thank you again!!

@emeraldsea
I second both suggestions. -
@spiv Cant understand 4th. Some picture?

Clean interface, really fast, the new menus are good, and the function to find my current place is great. Wind Speed doesn't maintain the increment setting I choose (switches back to knots from mph), and I miss the global view.
When you say you've been victims of serious data theft, do you mean theft of user info?
Thanks for a great product.

When I put in my home location in the search box it doesn't move the map to it. I manually moved the map to my location in the Marshall Islands but it will not display any of the views (winds, waves, etc) no matter which I move the slider to. The menu bar on the right does not display properly either. I am working on a computer that is crippled with restrictions but the regular site works fine.

@PeaceJaway No people steal meteorological data
-
@ivo Thanks for clarifying. I'm very sorry to hear that people steal what you've worked so hard to bring together.

@ivo
The search works now. On the last try I didn't get the choice of locations under the search type-in (e.g., Schlangenbad, Rhein-Taunus). This time I did. The display centered on the location. Problem resolved. :) -
Found an area where the 'click here for spot weather' feature does not function. It seems to cover a sector just east and just west of the islands of New Zealand. Further east, it does function.

MacBook 2014-ish w/ OSX-Safari betas::
Nice first impression . . . . After a bit the controls become non-responsive.
Unclear as to the situation(s) where this happens.
The display does NOT freeze but continues to display and the cursor responds/moves but mode will not change. Reload page seems to fix.
Details very vague/hazy at this point.( MacBookPro 11,1 / OSX 10.12.3 beta / Safari 10.0.3 )

How can I rotate the screen to turn the Globe to the other side of world.
-
I really like it! A couple of points
- "Reply" didnt work in Safari only in Firefox
- When playing the forecast the Pause/Play toggle didnt always work. I cant always reproduce it though. Sorry about that.

I liked the old menu on the right side better. You could click on the top of the wind to get kts, mpg, etc. This looks more PC than Mac. Not as intuitive as before.
Moving wind arrows missing today on both versions.
Viewing on Chrome, Mac 10.12.2

This beta version works on android perfect.. There is no problems at this moment.

Note a Spelling Error on the "About: Wind Gusts, the word "Than" is spelt "Tahn"

@StormCapture
Also a way to disable the "Distance and Measure Planner" as once enabled, I could not disable it to return to click for weather conditions for a specific area.
