Need to know is Windy offer API key. I just start my Observatory and I will like to have an API so I can use it as a backup of my local weather station. I have ever!thing integrated into Node Red.
Thanks -
@wichie-0 HI, we don't offer this API access for a home use now. We offer only API access for businesses, more info on api.windy.com

I hope i do not hijack this thread inapropriately, so please tell me or move my question if required.
I am a little underwhelmed by the forecasts in the past month, they change almost completely over night and sometimes none of them was right with the predictions at all but just a couple hours before the rain/heat wave/storm ... my location is known to have a complicated relation to forecasts, so i wanted to do some statistics in private to choose the best model for me and my location.
Enough about me and my location, and to the question:
Is it possible for me as private person to gain access to the API to run 3 or at max 5 requests per day to each available model for the next 2 or 3 days of forecast, so i can log it for me and compared it to the newest forecast (to see how much it fluctuates in general) and compare it to the current situation (to check for it's accuracy).
I might run it for a whole year or maybe only a few months, depending, if i find my model of choice earlier or later. I would pay for it if it's reasonable priced (the business price does not sound reasonable to me, for such a mundane load it would generate).
Sincerely mindforger
PS: or is somebody doing something similar already that i can hook up with to get my staistics for my location?

The easiest way to know which is the best model for your area is to use the Observation vs forecast feature.Let us know what is your location.
