About dew point
-
I’m a fan of windy, I’m astonished of so many parameters windy can give, I know many data come from GFS model, but ncep only has dew point at 2m above ground, I wonder where does this isobaric levels dew point data come from?

@木-阿-2
From the model.
Wx. models provide data (temp., rel.hum., d.p. etc) in many levels.

@Gkikas-LGPZ i know windy has many levels data from gfs model, but i didn't find them in nomads.ncep.noaa.gov which is gfs model download link
-
there is only dpt2m data
-
@Gkikas-LGPZ i'm guessing, their dew point data is calculated by specific humidity and temperature? using Tetens Formula?

@木-阿-2 Hi, yes dew point is calculated where it is missing. And the same for relative humidity.

@TZ Thanks!
