Good day to all! I wanted to ask a question about where the function for recording videos on an interactive map, converted approximately in the form of a timelapse, disappeared, and the saved data of such videos also disappeared from the wall in my account. Of course, I understand that everything is being improved and modernized, but such functions that other interactive maps do not have are simply removed, why get rid of such a highlight? You may have moved this feature, but I couldn't find it.
I also remember a long time ago, somewhere in 2017, there was an opportunity to view archived (past) days on an interactive map, you also removed it a long time ago. For example, on the Ventusky website it is possible to analyze the forecast in more detail in distant years, even since 1979. Some people think this is not particularly necessary, in part it is possible so, but remembering and viewing more significant dates with deep anomalous phenomena is absolutely necessary for statistics, and just to remember hour by hour on an interactive map in more detail how this or that anomalous phenomenon moved. Okay, Windy hasn't had this feature for a long time. But why did they remove the ability to record and automatically convert the movement of air masses into video, especially when converted as a timelapse? It’s a pity that there is no way to download such an archived video created on your site. But would like to know the reason? In general, viewing the forecast on an interactive map is modern, detailed and downright interesting! -
@NurlG Yes, I also miss those features every day several times...
