    why does this always show me 15 miles away from my location

      I do not understand why this always show me 15 miles away from my location. Wunderground and every other weather site have my location every time. I'm on a laptop in a fixed location

        @debenedictis, metoo, been placed at svortland,bømlo norway for ''ages'' (until lately), when my solid position is åkrehamn,karmøy,norway, 30 some miles distance error.never been at svortland...

          @debenedictis @Ørjan-P-Stien this depends on the setup of your browser. If Windy doesn't have an access to the GPS location or if the browser doesn't have allowance to use your location, it is possible that the locations is not accurate.

            @Suty Update to my location problem: Even though my location is shared with my Chrome browser, it is still 15 miles off. However, if I use Firefox, the location is accurate. So this seems to be a problem with how Windy.com works in the most used browser of all, Chrome.

              @debenedictis We standardly take the location, that browser provides and gets via the geoIP localization. We are planning to do some changes there, but I don't have any specific time period for now.

              How exactly your location is moved? Is that always in the same direction? Could you please describe it a bit?
