Why close forecast view to change layers?
-
On the mobile app it is quite frustrating to change layers because you need to close the forecast in order to open the right hand side menu (the menu button is hidden by the forecast bar at the bottom of the screen) then when you change layers And close the right hand side menu there is no simple way to return to the forecast for the place and time period previously selected.

@desmillicious Hi, you are right about this, however, forecast detail is still the same for all layers and it's not related part of app. So if you want to investigate the detail for certain location, you can do that in the same way with all layers and then you can change specific layers for more info.

@Suty That is true, but it’s adding an (unnecessary) inconvenience, potential frustration and clicks
You are required to close the forecast, to change the layer. Why exactly?
Also to give you an use case - sometimes once I switch layers (by that time forecast is closed, by that requirement) and examine one of them I want to check the forecast again, as I found something interesting on the layer.
But… it’s not there. Another set of clicks is required. It’s just a bad UX.

@enterfornone OKay, I will consider that with the team, so it can be changed in upcoming plans.
