I bought this app because an advertisement said it would help me pick sail sizes. I can’t find that feature anywhere. What’s up?

You are probably referring to another weather app.
Furthermore, I don't see how, without knowing your sailboat or its sails equipment, an app could tell you to use the inter jib and 1 reef in the mainsail. Unless you have given all the details about your boat and its sails equipment as required on the weather routing apps. This is not the case for Windy. -
