Hourly Forecast and Radar not in Sync.
-
I noticed a large discrepancy between the hourly forecast for a given location and the radar for that same location. As you can see in the attached screenshots, the hourly shows no chance of rain, while the radar shows a rather significant rain event (which actually occurred). This was a pop up summer storm, so I wouldn't expect the hourly forecast to predict this far in advance, but certainly would expect it to be representative of what the radar shows. This is the first time I've noticed this happening, any thoughts on the reason why?

@Steven-Chiado ,its like a pop-up ad, and a clear message to not to get model blinded and glance up and smell the air yourself, and make your own modulations on the WX quiz. dont risk your life on a fx WX. if the air seems humid and unstable in summer,s..t normally happens.
hand (have a nice day)

You cannot expect from a global weather model to be able to forecast the precise location of a thunderstorm in your vicinity. It can only predict stormy conditions in the region. There is a layer in Windy called Thunderstorms which predict the number of lightning per sq km ( l/km2). Try it.
In addition try to use a high resolution model like HRRR which is probably more efficient in convective conditions.
