Active Fire

Hello!…
The active fire for the Lake Fire in Santa Barbara County was showing up at first… but now is not there!
This is the largest fire in California this year???
The fire is active and is 38,000 + acres.

@kjd01 , hi i guess windy use data from modis /virrs /suomi satellite systems. i checked out the same wildfire on modis earlier today, and couldnt find it there either, so i guess its a glitch from primary data source. i use caltopo to view the developments of large fire incidfents, and the data was away there also...

It's also quite possible that the fire perimeter is just not as active as it was so it's not giving off enough heat for satellites to pick it up.
