Measuring levels of argon gas in the atmosphere can prevent electrical discharges from atmospheric lightning.
You can measure the levels by its wave lenght of 512 nm.
      5.855e+14 (hz)
      585,5 (Thz)

In addition, ozone gas is a gas that produces lack of radiation, short wave radiation due to lack of oxigen and that translate to lack of water vapor, path that carries the wave. That means that cripton, radón and xenon are not present in the atmosphere, and that means that only are left in the atmosphere the noble gases neón, argón and oganón, in the áreas where there are lack of oxigen, the argon, you can see violet lights with the electricity.

You could build a copper cable tied to the plastic pillars, the copper is exposed to air, the cable is connected to the tester(or multitester, voltage measurement device), then you measure in amps. If it got around 1 amp then there is a risk of electrical discharge from lightnings.
