Rain calls

So I’m sat in a major downpour and check the app and it says 0.7mm of rain to fall and I’m thinking how is this storm only 0.7mm of rain. What is with the conservative rain forecast?

You've been watching precipitation, but Windy is showing forecasts from several weather models and apparently you've only looked at one.
To get real rain observations, you can use the Radar layer which gives you real data on falling rain.
