could you please stop flashing the tutorial window?
-
Hi, I think your product is very cool, however I have automated it to track my location as i sail around the world on a remote display on the bridge of an 80 meter yacht. The tutorial window is blocking the display. There is no access to this machine other than remote desktop and means i have to restart it every time. I can close the window but every time the url updates with our new loaction it comes back.
-
It seems impossible since the splash window is displayed only once? What browser and OS are you using?
-
I'm using firefox on windows .. it actually restarts without the tutorial but then it suddenly pops up about an hour later
-
the problem is that i can't access it except by rdp, and as the browser is in kiosk mode the only option i have is to restart.
The browser is opened via a scheduled command line batch file which updates the lat and long every hour whilst preventing new tabs being opened. Clearly every time the command line opens the url the tutorial opens up. It would be nice to have a flag on the url that would prevent this -
@TALITHA Well would you consider using embedded version on Windytv widget. This is exactly task for our Widget. Please use Widget. It is smaller code and no promos are there
-
@ivo sure let me try that.. thanks very much for your help

OK I'm very close! I have managed to configure the auto reloader to call the embedded URL exactly like this:
"https://embed.windytv.com/embed2.html?lat=17.891&lon=-62.85&zoom=9&level=surface&overlay=wind&menu=true&message=true&marker=true&forecast=12&calendar=now&location=coordinates&type=map&actualGrid=Bobject0HTMLSelectElementD&metricWind=kt&metricTemp=B0C"
without the quotes. And it works very nicely except for the zoom, which has no effect. I have cut and pasted this into my browser to double check, and altering the zoom no longer works. If I embed this as an iframe into a webpage the zoom works, but i dont really want to do that. Can you help? -
If zoom has no effect it is bug and i will check it bro
