I saw, that the posible forecast for meteorological soundings (Aerology) in now only 5 days in ECMWF and GFS models. Clicking day 6 till 9 in the timeline continuously displays day 5. As there is no time and date of the forecast displayd map itself. This could easily lead into confusion.
As I am working intensly with the soundings in order to write local weather forecasts, I would apreciate having them calculated over the whole timeline displayd, which is currently 9 days for ECMWF and GFS. If not posible, the day and time for the calculated forecast in the map itself would be appreciated.

        Hey @Rubilin

I'm the author of the "flyXC soundings" plugin.

I believe this is a bug in the built-in soundings. I recently updated the code of the plugin to fix this - @marekd told me to add {extended: "true"} when fetching the forecast data. After I updated my code the plugin was able to access the full time range.

The technical details in this post are not aiming at confusing you but to help the windy team fix the issue quickly. @Suty might be also to help route to the right person.

In the meantime you can use the flyXC soundings plugin, the zoomed out view is similar to a regular sounding.

I was just about to report this same issue.
My 2 cents: looks like the built-in sounding only sees the data available to the free tier, even if you are logged in a Premium account.
As of what to do when the data is legitimately not available, I'd suggest drawing a graph that says "no data", crossed out or something similar. I've had many times when I misread the graph as @Rubilin mentions. Showing the validity date and time would be nice, but probably too easy to miss.

@Rubilin @andrestotorica Hi, I already reported this, so it should be fixed in the next update of our web app. Thank you for your patience.
