Viewing Windytv offline ?

Is there a (future) possibility to consult Windytv offline after saving the data on the device (Android, Windows, ...). It is interesting for people not having Internet connectivity for several days like being at sea for a week or hiking in places out of cellular range but for whom weather is of utmost importance.
