        @AbhishekMG Do you use the same model in the embed and API? Please note that ECMWF, which is a default model for the app, is not available in the API.

            @AbhishekMG Yes, it is, but there are specific conditions for this. Please check API terms of use.

                @AbhishekMG If you use Professional license, you can purchase ECMWF API for another €1000 per year, however, this data can be used only in noncommercial projects.

                  @Suty ok

                  1. I don't see option for upgrade for ECMWF for point forecast.
                  2. Can I just get the base clouds as parameter in api instead of other option.

                        @AbhishekMG I am sorry but we don't support the API this way and our API offer only layers mentioned in the documentation.

                            @Suty I want to ask does the point forecast api shows the same data from layer used in windy embed and windy homepage given that I have set the same model for map view ?

                              @AbhishekMG Yes, it provides same data as it is in Windy.com app, but in a different format. If you want to use the Map from our app, I would recommend the Map API.

                                @Suty Hi
                                I am using the embed with medium cloud layer and trying to get the same data from point forecast but I am still getting 50 % deviation in value from point forecast at random point otherwise there is difference around 4 - 10 percent . so my question will there be any improvement if I switch to map api with license.

                                        @AbhishekMG You should get the same accuracy with both versions of API, however, Map API offers maps visualizations as they are in our app.

                                        If you see big differences, can you share the sample for certain location from Point forecast API and our app?

                                          check this on 9th 8:30am mid cloud data in point forecast and map from windy app with same parameter shows difference in value

                                            @AbhishekMG Hi, I discussed this discrepancy with colleagues and I can assure you that data from Point forecast API are accurate. Certain inaccuracy comes with our visualization, where values are affected by interpolation of images.
