What Happened to Gallery View & Why No Historical Layer Data
-
Note that I am a Windy premium user, and the following suggestions may not have to apply to the free version and am fine with them being considered for the premium one.
Windy used to have a selectable gallery view for the layers, which on leaving your cursor above a layer causes it to quick-replay its historical data for the past 10 days or so. This option has apparently not been available for a long time now (probably a year).
Also, if not to re-add gallery mode, it would be even better to have an explicit selectable mode for layer-wise historical data, like is currently available for satellite data.
Thank you.

As far as I know Windy has never shown forecast data for the last 10 days.
However, this is still possible for reported data at weather stations. -

There was a time when hovering your cursor over a layer’s frame in the gallery view would show a quick replay of data for the past 10-20 days or so, which would countdown till the current day. -

OK, I remember the hover feature, but I never realized it showed the forecast for the last few days.
I was mostly using the list of layers but so rarely the gallery. -
@idefix37 If I’m completely correct about this feature, it would be really great if Windy brought it back as a separate feature.
