Windy launches Radar+ layer combining Satellite and Radar view

Windy was already the number one weather app and website by far but I was eagerly anticipating this feature and you have delivered with an extremely high quality high resolution overlay! Excellent job! Just another reason for me to recommend Windy!

My friend is a helicopter pilot, and he recommended the windy app, and I have not been disappointed!

I love the new radar features -
Radar+ looks great at first glance. I'll get a better chance to see how useful as the day progresses and some changing weather comes in.
Visualizations like Radar+ are why I subscribe to Windy.

By routinely adding new and, most importantly, useful features, Windy continues to be the best weather app that I use.

It worked the first day it was launched but then all I get is satellite clouds without precipitation. Waiting for an update to maybe fix.

I have been using Windy for a long time. Very pleased with the quality and performance. I work for a very large international trucking company and we use Windy all the time. Nationally we depend on accurate weather. Wind is also a very important determining factor when hauling freight. Radar+ is a great tool to use and provides us a heads up advantage. Thank you for all the improvements and advances with the mobile app and the web access.

I have always stitched together the variety of perspectives on weather available on several apps and the broadcast services. But this update from Windy has anticipated all that and added more ways to manage my view as I ff it was reading my mind! This is impressive and laudable! Congratulations!

Radar is one of the best features of windy, the best app for meteo. Radar+ is an amazing improvement with archive and better interface. Go on like this!

**The Best Weather App… **
I don’t usually gush over apps. Rarely do I find one that doesn’t have some problem, missing feature, or something that doesn’t make it do what it’s supposed to do. Windy is the exception. When I first purchased a subscription, I thought, “what are you doing?!?!” “There are hundreds of FREE weather apps!” Well, I’m on my second year now, and I have the Windy app front and center on my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new Radar+ is a work of art. I love the blue overlay, (or whatever it’s called). This is everything I can imagine ever wanting or needing in a weather app! I can usually call the weather better than our local TV meteorologists! Keep up the stellar work. I look forward to what’s next…
