Windy launches Radar+ layer combining Satellite and Radar view

As a pilot, I’m thrilled with this new feature as it augments the usual verbal WX briefing intuitively with fewer clicks. Windy is my “go to” app for situational awareness and safety.
The cool part is that it’s almost like having a crystal ball into the future that’s actually quite accurate!

Radar+ is a feature I've contemplated requesting for sometime; very pleased it's now here.
Tried in several locales (no "weather" here 😁) & notice that Infrared from satellite view doesn't function as expected in Radar+.
A small glitch no doubt (perhaps the AUS data feeds not integrating).
Again thanks for this much anticipated feature.

Great app and the new layer is really good. I am a coffee planter (Farmer) in India and have been using the app for some time and the best app just got better in predicting the weather for my farm work for the day.
Opening the app is like saying good morning for me.
Keep up the great work -

I’ve trusted Windy for 5 years.
We’ve sailed the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Mexico for the past 5 years and have come to rely and trust Windy’s forecasts. I’m amazed and pleased how consistent the information has been. Wind speed, direction, timing has been nearly flawless. Wave and swell information is an invaluable tool as well. Thanks Windy for making our Mexican journey a trip of a lifetime. -
I love! The Radar+ its awesome to see both Radar and Satellite your able to see things more clear and can bounce the radar off or the satellite to change things up. I love the 15 day out look forecast. Ive been using Windy now sense Dec of 21 best weather app out there hands down! Everything it has to offer on the premium subcreation. I also know in time its only gonna rock more! Id love to see the wind direction from green to red when it comes to see a tornado if ya cant make it out in the normal radar. Also a tornado picking up things it shows a clutter of i think, blue,orange maybe some red been awhile sense ive seen that in a tornado season in ne ok. Hands down the Windy App rock! Cant wait for more stunning feats.. to be open its an endless possibilities.

Would be a great addition to add more radar data for sure. Like velocity scans at a minimum, I'd think most should have that capability.
Things like storm relative velocity are for more advanced radar's and I don't think dual-pol radars are installed worldwide. -
It's cool, I really like it. The radar is much faster to load than any other app I've used.

I have windy premium but have no Radar + layer
What should I do to gry it? -
I have been using Windy for several years and decided to get premium due to hurricane season. I really like the new view with the combined images. I am very particular about being able to see exactly where the edge of a storm will pass, this is important info for hurricane and tornado weather. This is a much needed improvement.

Absolutely love Windy and tell all my sailing friends who also love it now
I’ve got a couple of bugs that would love to get squashed. I am unable to load the new version of radar+ and my beta version isn’t showing the clouds, just the radar. Let me know how to reset the app, other than starting and restarting which I’ve done so that I can get the new version and give you feedback on that.
If you look at the video my screen, you’ll see that I also have a bug where I press the home button and then a saved location and I get some random spot a few hundred miles south of the location. When I go to save location it works properly. This is a minor issue and easy to work around, but I just thought I’d let you know

sorry that that video has no audio. I tried a couple of times and clearly selected the microphone on button, but it hasn’t worked.
