Notification Badge - where is the notification?

There is a persistent notification badge on the app icon (always says 1) but where in the app is the notification to be read so I can get that 1 on the app icon to go away?

Go to your list of Favorites to see which one is warned due to the Alarm you have set. The warned favorite is on light grey background and show a blue bell

Then click on this Favorite to see the forecast detail at this location. You’ll see light red bells (too light to my taste) when your alarm conditions are predicted.
