<![CDATA[lightning sound volume]]>It would be nice if there was a way to increase the volume of the pop sound that indicates lightning strokes. I can barely hear it on my imac with sound turned up all the way (too much for listening to other material).

Thanks for the suggestion. We do not plan any changes in that matter. The sound is more like a a interesting add-on. Nevertheless, I have tested it, and the sound is pretty notable to me.

Nice to have a volume increment or slider. Thus we can have a Windy page open, while doing something else, but still hear when thunderstorms kick-off.

At the moment I use a short-wave radio to indicate when there's storms building and lightning nearby (which provides a lot of subtle detail), because Windy's sound is inaudible.
