      I have to say that I have never seen the isobars look like this - with a kink no less! Presumably it's an artifact of the ECMWF model.

      Let me know if the image doesn't come up and I'll try again. It's from just south of Lake Ontario and NE of Washington DC.

        It is probably not an artifact of the ECMWF model itself but rather to the algorithms which plot the isobars in Windy. The model provide pressure data at grid points and Windy draw the isolines.
