Windy claims to use Blitzortung to detect lightning strikes, but I recently noticed a significant discrepancy: the lightning strikes on Blitzortung were displayed in completely different locations than those shown on Windy. This raises the question: What data does Windy currently use to detect lightning strikes?

Hi, we don't use Blitzortung anymore but nowcast.de (LINET). We changed the source about a year ago.

@David-Polášek Thank you very much! Do you also know how to use the MTG-11 Lightning Imager from EUMETSAT?
