      Hello,

      I searched in the messages but I did not find, so sorry in advance if it is a duplicate.

      I would like to know if it is possible to have an option to add a wind layer (surface and higher) in the map of weather radar and satellite (or both with Radar+) as it exists in other weather applications.

      That would be great.

      Thank you !

        @Loris13

        There is no such option in Windy, and we are not considering adding it now. Since radar/satellite is not a forecast but rather a nowcast, I would recommend using wind stations that also show you the most recent measurements to be precise. Also Meteogram can do the trick as well, but I'm not sure about your use case.

        Thanks for the suggestion!

          Hello,
          No, there is no way to display a wind layer when Radar or Satellite are selected.
          But you can enable Pressure isolines (isobars), which are giving

          • a rough direction of the wind (with an angle of 20° on the sea, 30° on the land, entering a Low, exiting a High).
          • a rough force of the wind by the pression gradient i.e. the spacing between the isobars.

          But as @David-Polášek said Radar and Satellite are observations and isobars are predictions.
