AROME 1.3 km will be back

Same here. Used Arome 1,3km for years in Berlin but now it’s gone. Can’t there be both Arome versions? If Windy decides to leave it like this I’m also considering to cancel my premium subscription.

I'm also voting for returning Arome 1.3km back. The main reason I use and pay for Windy is the ability to use Arome 1.3 km for wind forecast in Ireland.

I totally agree with all the other members about the utili of AROME 1,3 km model.
I live in Italy, in the Eastern Alpine region, so very close to Austrian members, and I can confirm that it is the model that works well in our areas.
Me too I subscribed the premium account only to have 1h forecast from Arome model…
Is there in the app (the Arome 2,5km is not available yet) any other model comparable to the precision of Arome 1,3? Thank you! -
@Harry_Knecht I have boughr Windy for the accuracy of Arome sailing and, PLS bring it back otherwise Windy will be similar to otger tools available …

@Suty Hi, I'm very sad that you take off the Arome 1.3km because is the one that i usefor see mi kitesurft spots. I get one year of premiun and I only use 2 months and now it's no longer usefull to me Windy. I want you to put the Arome 1.3km back soon or a refound of the rest of the year. Thanks

I bought the premium subscription mainly for access to the arome 1.3 data. Now that you removed it I'm no longer interested,

I find it quite ridiculous that the 1.3 km arome has been taken away (as of today for me).
Considering a huge part of my favourite sailing area (Northern Netherlands and further north) is no longer covered by the arome model it is reason for me to cancel my premium membership.
So could you please let us know asap whether it will be reinstalled or not?
And I too would like a refund if it isn’t reinstalled. -

Really useful for Sailing the baltic sea in Germany -
Fully agree with previous comments, for our Salzkammergut Lakes Arome Model was the only one that was reliable to predict local Winds. This was the only reason to use Windy premium. Without it, it is useless for me, and this is also the opinion of all of my Friends in the local windsurf and kite Community here at Mondsee (Upper Austria) area . I will cancel my premium account if arome is not coming back!

For Waginger See Arome 1.3 the only forcast model which works, the only reason for my Premium account is Arome. Make sure it is available soon

Another vote for Arome 1.3!
just checked today weather and wind forecasts for Emberger Alm / Greifenburg (Austria), a very popular paragliding spot in the eastern alps. Neither Arome 2.5 nor UKV is available there, hence as model with reasonable resolution only model ICON D2 remains...
The same holds for further popular paragliding spots in the eastern alps such as e.g. Werfenweng (Austria), Kobala (Slovenia), or Meduno (Italy)=> a clear deterioration of services provided by windy (premium) for all these regions!
P.s.: whatever the reason was to switch from Arome 1.3 to 2.5, it definitively was not done in the interest of all those users who are using windy in regions outside the limited boundaries of Arome 2.5...

Another vote for Arome 1.3km, since the current one does not cover regions from the north west of Spain, where I sail. I renewed my yearly subscription for this. If it is not reinstalled, I would also request for a refund. Thanks

Also in Ireland and the Arome model was certainty the most reliable. I always used the view where you could compare models and it frequently was the only accurate one.
Windy admin team, this is extremely frustrating. I don’t understand why you would remove existing functionality like this. Your app had my favourite layout relative to other wind forecast apps. You’re going to lose a lot of customers outside of the 2.5 resolution area, me included.

Also requesting 1.3 back. If the reduction in functionality stays I’ll be moving to another app (along with most of the kitesurfing community in Ireland). Arome is by far the most consistently accurate model.

I'm a premium user and I have (like more Italian users) a need to recover model Arome 1.3Km for forecast north of the Adriatic Sea.
On the iPhone App no longer possible to see model Arome 1.3Km, URGENT RECOVER THIS MODEL.
If you decide not to recover this model, a Premium subscription for me is unnecessary.
