AROME 1.3 km will be back

Hello.
I am typically sailing in the galician coast and the arome 1,3 is no longer available, but I subscribed to the premium because of that. Therefore I would like to get my money back. Please confirm my refund.
I think that I will change to windfinder, because the superforecast model is proving to be really good.

Most of the time I was using the AROME Model. Sincs this morning it’s no longer available. Will it come back?

The AROME 1.3 km version has been replaced by the 2.5 km version, on the browser version and now in the mobile app too. This 2.5 km version has a more restricted domain. This is probably the reason why you can no longer find AROME.

@idefix37 that’s a bity. It was by fare the most accurate for lake Wolfgangsee in Austria.

I agree with you, I prefer the 1.3km version. The new 2.5km version has been highly requested by aviation people.

Is there any possibility to implement both Arome versions?? I’ve subscribed for the hourly Forecast of the Arome model but now Windy is completely useless for me.
The other available models in south Bavaria for Chiemsee and so on are too inaccurate.

@idefix37 Why wasn’t Arome 2.5 added as an extra to Arome 1.3? Now all those who do not live in the coverage area will be punished. I would almost bet that these are more than the aviation enthusiasts.

Hi! I have a problem with the app. I don’t have the arome 1.3 option on my windy app.
Another friend have it and she is not a premium account.

Yes, but they are probably in the domain of AROME 2.5 km.

Same here. Used Arome 1,3km for years in Berlin but now it’s gone. Can’t there be both Arome versions? If Windy decides to leave it like this I’m also considering to cancel my premium subscription.

I'm also voting for returning Arome 1.3km back. The main reason I use and pay for Windy is the ability to use Arome 1.3 km for wind forecast in Ireland.

I totally agree with all the other members about the utili of AROME 1,3 km model.
I live in Italy, in the Eastern Alpine region, so very close to Austrian members, and I can confirm that it is the model that works well in our areas.
Me too I subscribed the premium account only to have 1h forecast from Arome model…
Is there in the app (the Arome 2,5km is not available yet) any other model comparable to the precision of Arome 1,3? Thank you! -
@Harry_Knecht I have boughr Windy for the accuracy of Arome sailing and, PLS bring it back otherwise Windy will be similar to otger tools available …
