Turn off smooth satellite animation

I want the option back to turn off smooth satellite animation. Satellite is the only reason I use Windy, I even pay for premium. I honestly don't get why a useful option can't be brought back.
And it is not just me either. On a previous post it seemed to me that the majority of people want the option back.
