Windy app vs Windy.app app

I recently received a special offer to subscribe for life to “Windy.app” as a Pro user. Thinking the message was from my favorite “Windy” app., I sent my subscription. However it results that it is a different app altogether to the one I use (yours).

This is very confusing- and unfair, as I had no intention to subscribe to the other app: As I will not pay a double subscription it also means that you lost a subscriber.

So I really cannot understand how these things can happen. The names are way too close, and are deceptive and deceiving.

Hello @Jetset777, we are upset about this situation with the second app as well, and we are doing our best to make the difference. However, it is still confusing because of the name, which won't be probably changed on their end.
