On mobile, when I press 'Home', it zooms out to show me a 2,000 km area, from Luxembourg down to the Sahara. I'm usually more interested in the weather close to where I am.

@db255 Hi there, did you try to longtap the home button? It takes you to forecast details with higher zoom level.
