Show Weather Picker disappears when I change locations

I like to compare locations using the weather picker to get the humidity level, rain, etc. In the recent update, the picker no longer is active once I change cities and so I have to select it again. Prior to the update, the weather picker would display until I X'd it closed or selected a different display map. Please restore this.

It is still possible to grab the weather picker with the mouse to move it. I don’t know why you can’t do it.
By the way, do you know when in POIs you choose Forecasted weather and select the Humidity layer, you get the humidity below each city name. Same for other parameters/layers.
