I am stupid or the site? How to fix my preferences? Is Windy a Beagle or am I?

Hi folks,
most likely it´s my stupidity, I am sure. But can anybody of you tell me how to fix my preferences? :

Whenever I log in, I again have to go into "settings" to activate the lat/long-grid. How to tell the program that I allways like to see the grid?

It´s allmost like training a Beagle dog, hopeless. But, as said, it might be me being the Beagle.
