Rain forecast inconsistency

Hello

I am looking at the forecast for the city of London

On a 3 hour basis, I get this

On an hourly basis I get this

Look at the rainfall for the period.
There is either an issue with the row label (which should read mm/h) or there is an issue with the numbers (3 hours of 10mm/hours) should give 30mm for a 3 hours period

Hi @jfparis, thank You for reporting this issue. This is definitely a bug in the Compare feature. I will look into this.

If You check regular UKV forecast

You will notice that Saturday and Sunday is too far to the future and forecast step changes to 3 hours. This way, rain precipitation is displayed correctly, but Compare feature simply interpolates missing data (values for hour 00Z, 03Z, 06Z and so on match, but they have different meaning - 3h rain accumulation instead of 1h accumulation) which is wrong.
