Feature Request: Animated rain and wind accumulation

To be honest, the latest rain and wind accumulation is good (at least on the web). The user has control on the duration of the forecasts. But how about the user can play the duration they set without smooth animation?

For example, I want to look at rain accumulation for 3 days for a specific location. Rather than scrolling through the timeline to see the forecast, a play head will appear to animate those 3-day for me.
