Display Layer is not presented even though it is selected

When I land in the app, the Wave Display Layer is selected, but i see a grey layer instead. Why is it not presented automatically when I open the app? It was completely fine in the past

In addition, when I select a location, it zooms in autmatically to its location, in order to get details on the waves period and swell. However, when I zoom out (to watch the entire wave direction) it does not stick on where i initially pinned but it selects automatically a random location on the map and eventually take me out of the location wave details.
I am not able to attach a screen recording...

And turn OFF Move the map to change the forecast location to stay at the initially pinned point even when changing zoom levels.
