Version 43: Introducing the New Features and Enhancements. Tell us what you think!

Bravo for this new version. I find the radar + tab and the improved forecasts for the wind useful that allow me to plan my activities in the mountains and on the sea (scuba diving).
-
What I really wish is a meteogram-widget❤️
-
Awesome updates. App is getting almost daily. Any chance you might be able to include some automated orientation on the mobile app? Like in good maps it knows which way you are facing.

Hola, es bueno la versión v43. Sigo evaluando cada punto de Windy. Aveces no es certero o no en tiempo real por ejemplo las lluvias caídas en 5 minutos o 10 minutos.
-
I appreciate the Radar+layer, it became my favourite here. I like also the new 15 days forecast. I know Aladin from my previous app very well, so I am glad it is the Windy part now, as I think it is great.

When both Radar and Satellite Infra is selected, the color contours preference is given to Radar and satellite changes to visible which is a great move as radar is a more accurate parameter. However for areas where radar has severe anomalies, this may pose a problem. An option can be given to choose from the color contours of either Radar or satellite infra which might be helpful. I may be speculative:)

@Polina-Nozdrina never mind. I see this is already implemented. The team at Windy is so ahead of its time ;)

This really is the go to app for weather now. The amount of different weather models available is perfect. Radar+ really sets it apart from the rest.
What I'd love if there was a way or if it would work in theory is for 1 model that averages out all of the models combined. Don't know how this is achieved but in this ever changing global climate would this give us more accuracy?
-
Loving the app. You guys deserve the subs it's brilliant. Will recommend to all my friends. I really like the new beta radar and as a glider pilot love isobars and front lines.
-
There is a glitch in the Radar+ page. When you click on the city name to get a daily forcast it takes you to a random city on the screen. It should be fixed.
-
Love the radar+ functionality! I often sail on the Bolsena lake, where last summer lots of thunderstorms and big rain cells have been running around. Approaching Cumulus may generate strong winds and transform a nice afternoon sailing in a tour in a washing machine! The radar+ allows to spot heavy rain cells and their forecasted movements allowing to maintain a decent distance from them and saving the day!
-
I like the Radar+, but i dunno, perhaps the background color is a bit darker than the satellite infra+ that i'm personally used to watch more, and feels a bit uncomfortable, I find myself changing back and forth between them three, radar+, radar and sat infra+... Maybe its because in argentina there are a lot of radar noise too...
Anyway thanks a lot, your tools are so useful to us. -
I'm really happy about the development of windy, for me as a sailor more and more helpful, planing my routes
-
-
@bavabici great features! My favorite is definitely the route planner improvement!
-
Radar+ surely has the potential to work with solar panel inverter software and community batteries?
For me I just love knowing when to head out on a rainy day, hang up the washing, take the bike or the car, smother myself in zinc and wear a hat, or go easy on the sunscreen.
Fab app, gorgeous graphics and most importantly the data and forecast accuracy is next level futuristic crystal ball magic!
Luv ya werk ❤️🔥 -
Dear Windy team.
I wanna say thanks for your awesome workflow and great new functions available for Windy.
I am very satisfied with the app and it makes fun to try out the new possibilities.
I love the new Radar+ the most, it is a great feature.
The other new windy powers are nice, too.
Fall season arrived these days and it is getting colder and very windy here.
Let us all have fun with the technical news and experience Windy better than before, because Windy is for everyone!

Awesome windy! What would be really useful is some measure of uncertainty for the various layers as they progress through time.

Thanks for the new update! I use Windy everytime when preparing for my flights in an airline environment. Radar+, the wind meteograms and the possible CAT areas in various altitudes provide me an extensive source of information of how the flight conditions are going to be. Please keep up the great work!
