layers differences weather vs rain vs thunder

Hi,
was looking on maps with actual weather, storm was my interest.
It seems some layers show the storms some dont.
**it does not correspond to each other ** thunderstorm, "new beta plus" or rain.

The first two images show actual weather from radar.
The 3rd and 4th show forecast wx. as it comes from wx. models.
