Red dot alert

There is a constant red dot on my Windy icon on iPhone and iPad, presumably indicating an alert or a message for me. I have never been able, once the app is opened, to find it or any suggestion where it might be found.
I would like the red dot to go away. Where is the alert?

When an Alert is triggered you see the location with a blue bell in your Favorites list.
In this location forecast red bells (too light for me) are displayed, here for a wind alert > 20 kt, and red bars in the weather summary.

@idefix37 Thanks much. Did I set an alert? If so, it was unintentional. How can I unset it?
If there’s a source for instruction on these sorts of admittedly primitive problems, I can’t find it. I’m very grateful for your explanation.

No there is no instructions in Windy for this sort of problem.
Click on your profile picture in the home page to get your list of Favorites.
Then you can set/unset the alert for these Favorite location by clicking on the small pencil.
Modify the Alert parameters or delete the Alert.
