Radar+ doesn't always load for 12h history

When opening the radar+ layer and switching to 12h history, very often the satellite loads and plays but the radar is the same T-1h image between T-12h and T-1h, only then starts playing.

No amount of time will allow the radar to load back all the way to T-12h

It can be loaded through some sequence of steps:
Eg. Turning off satellite, keeping radar only, switching to 6h history, switching back to 12h

but just not by default.
