Inaccurate current data

I have been sailing through southeast Asia for the last 11 months and have found the current data very inaccurate. quite often it's in the opposite direction as to what is indicated on windy. this has affected me greatly in my passage planning leaving me to sometimes be pushing into three knot currents that should be behind me.

Did you check the Current layer or the Tidal current layer ?
