Satellite outage over the North and South America (Sep 28)

this is current from environment canada usimg GOES 18 sattelite, has been up all weekend. Goes 18

The other apps that use the same sattelite are working fine!!!!! And Satellite alert messages updated that the GOES16 restore is set 100% complete and here not yet.

So what do you do when your satellite wont respond to a remote reboot command? Do satellite service techs make urgent space calls? 😉

There is an outage of GEOS-16 East and GEOS-18 West, as shown on the NOAA Satellite Alert messages: https://ospo.noaa.gov/operations/messages.html
Its "GOES" not "GEOS" satellite... It is an acronym for "Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite"... If you are a satellite product distributor you should know the names of your products... Not filling me with confidence here...

Looks like they moved the ALL Satellite to Premium.
I'm dumping Windy and removing the App from my phone; there are plenty of other FREE weather sites. -

For the past three days all satellite images over North America don’t show up.
I get a please wait triple dot.

I have been a premium subscriber for many years. I've noticed the reliability of windy decreasing this past year. living on a yacht in the islands I need something that I can depend on. It seems Windy is no longer a service that I can depend on. My subscription is coming to an end, and I will let it expire.
Regretfully a long-time subscriber. -
same thing for me..... works for other parts of the world, but not North/South America
