@Suty said in Satellite outage over the North and South America:

There is currently an outage of satellites over the American continent. We are waiting for further development.

FYI radar widgets and satellite widgets are blank. Issue appeared with new release 43.

Could you provide an estimate for when this might be resolved? With the hurricane in the U.S. and the wildfire season in the Amazon, this disruption really comes at a tough time...

When is this going to get fixed? I've been waiting for the past 3 days!

@Suty Possible corporate hacking. This is the best site to get information whithout all the garbage the other sites bring.

My primary reason for subscribing to windy is because I live in a hurricane zone. This should be fixed asap. Satellites work in other apps - this is a windy glitch, not a satellite glitch.

As a note NOAA satellite imagery is working fine.

I report the same here... Ok its obviously at a satellite feed issue. The folks who make the app should address this with some kind of statement... You cant expect us to pay for a product with no access to information on failure... If they got in front of this with a statement right away no one would be complaining but would instead wait it out until it was fixed.

So it appears we have an answer for this, but missed it. Here's the thread I found on it:

@luizjr4 This would be great as i just spent a few hours troubleshooting, what i thought to be, a firewall issue.

@Robert-Allen-8 The same for me! Seems like they are not working on it quick enough as I have to go to other sites. And I pay for this?
