Solved Satellite outage over the North and South America (Sep 28)
-
@Justin-Earl so do I, I thought the problem was local so tried so many things before give up and come to the community and find out the issue was actually from the satellite hahaha
-
The satellites images and animations are available on my regular environment Canada website so I am confused as to why windy premium has gone silent. Any idea yet? It has been down since the last update.

@OldRok yes here to Washington St.
-
@Gary59 Use Zoom Earth

I’am in Miami and have the same problem as you, and may be related to the Apple IOS. Updates, or other technical issues. I have also advised Windy about the issue 2 days ago, but no response yet. Good Luck. @JRRUIZ
-
Other apps are working normally, except Windy. Disappointed.
-
We have no satellite view!
-
@David-Polášek how long before this is resolved?
-
We are not alone. Other sites have no Data to display.
-
Satellite view does not load for several days now.. It is now Sunday evening.
-
You can find images here.
https://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/geo/#/animation?satellite=goes-east&end_datetime=latest&n_images=20&coverage=conus&channel=13Do not know why Windy is blaming somebdy else..
-
Same here!
-
I can't see the satellite for America! Please help
-
It has been more than 2 days since the satellite images not supported in North and South Americas. The company need to be accountable for the issue. Silence is not a good answer for the customers.
-
No Satellite for 3 days...WHY..? rebates coming..?
-
Same here as well. I don't recall having this kind of outage on windy before lasting this long. What's up, it would be nice to get an update as to what is going on. It's Sunday evening @ 7pm....
-
Same around here, Satellite View is very helpful for us. We are a group of Pilots flying into Colombian Jungle between indigenous communities. Please Load again!! Thats a great tool!
-
Problem exists for both mobile and web. Radar+ shows only radar data.
-
Radar+ has radar data only.
-
@nikitatm absolutely. This may have been acceptable for the first 4 hours but I think we're entitled to an explanation at this point.
At first I thought it may have been one of the satellites was shot down but 30% of global coverage seems likely it's just failed system integration.
Is the western hemisphere server in the path of a hurricane and flooded out or what?
