      Hello, I am not seeing any options any more for rain accumulation next 24 hours, next 3 days, or next 5 days. Am I missing something? It used to be in the lower left I believe. Now all it gives me is next 12 hours. This is very important and something I expect in the premium features.

        @phish0569 I believe it depends on what the settings are for the radar.

          A weather radar DOES NOT forecast rain and cannot predict the rain accumulation for the next days.

              @phish0569

              You just need to scroll the right cursor to increase or decrease the accumulation time.

                The Rain accumulation is predicted by the weather model you have chosen. Same for wind, rain, temperature, etc…

                  @idefix37 That's how I was trying to say it but didn't know the best way to say it.

                    Remember that a radar cannot predict the future weather even if many people think that the rain is forecast by “radar” !

                          @idefix37 Wow! I see. The cursor turns into a hand and you can drag. Game changer!! Thanks for the tip. Love the increased and customized functionality.

                            @Tiv-3film Thanks for chiming in and trying to help. I'm a professional meteorologist so I can help clarify. A weather radar is a giant piece of actual equipment (giant pertaining to the WSR-88Ds that make up the land-based US network) that show current and past distribution of atmospheric "stuff" - it can see water vapor, rain, snow, bugs, dirt, debris, etc etc.

                            A weather model, like the ECMWF "Euro" or GFS or NAM, are merely algorithms (equations) or AI-based machine learning software that run on supercomputers that predict the future. So "future radar" is really just a weather model showing what the radar could look like in the future. Not anything you could use an actual radar to compute. Hope that helps and happy weathering!

                              I should add that you can also grab the left slider, which will give you the predicted rainfall accumulation over a future time frame.
