Decimal boat speed not showing
-
For trip planning with decimal boat speed, the decimals only show up when initially typed. After route recall the duration of the trip seems to reflect the decimal speed despite the speed decimal numbers not showing.
Also a bar showing the duration on the calendar would be nice.

I wonder how you can predict the boat speed with decimal precision.

@idefix37 Actually, very easily. After racing and/or cruising the boat for a season or 2, you should have a good idea of what the boat's average boat speed is. Also, if you have "polars" from a Velocity Prediction Program used by a Naval Architect in designing the boat, you can use the polar data and the forecast windspeed to set your boat speed. I use a boat's "Polars" all of the time when delivering boats that I know very little about.

@DougieSails
I see what you mean, but with Route planner in Windy, you can't set the average speed per leg. It's only an approximate average for the entire route. Reason why a speed per leg would be a big improvement.
Do you use Route planner ? -

Finally I tested Route planner with decimals. They are only displayed, for example, for 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5, but 5.4, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9 are all rounded to 6 !
And trip duration is well calculated according to the decimal values.
Would it be possible to fix this small glitch ?
