Rain radar update interval in NZ

Hi,

according to Metservice NZ, their rain radar is updated every 7.5 minutes.
Looking at NZ rain radar on Windy, switching on animation, there hardly any change, whereas when I navigate over to Australia, I see a nice smooth animation of rain fronts moving.

Is there an update issue with NZ rain radars?

Hi @ingoratsdorf, Metservice NZ does indeed update their radar data every 7.5 minutes. But the price they were asking for this data was not acceptable for us, so we are only using their open access data data with 1h update. More about it here.
