On mobile app, right after home button and showing the 4-day forecast for a set location. If you push / click on a forecast day it opens the detailed forecast in the bottom screen (correct) but randomly changes the map location, resulting in showing the forecast for a wrong location on the map. The map is moved as well and matches the forecast (totally wrong place). This happens for any defined favorite location as well. Second time it works and does not randomly move the map location.

This is very annoying. Please fix. Let me know if more information is required. Screenshot not possible as I would need to film the behavior.

Found a small option when opening the bottom red pane below forecast to disable map move.

I do not understand the purpose of the option. However if I disable the shown forcast matches the preselected location. See attached screenshot.

@windy-robert I see the purpose of the option as being able to review the forecast at other locations simply by move the map. That is, with the option enabled, the app shows the forecast at the crosshairs in the middle of the display as the map is moved. And with the option disabled, you can move the map to, for example, see the radar or wind or satellite at a different location without changing the forecast for the selected location.

@aih - thanks for the explanation and works perfectly under normal situations. What confused me was tapping the forecast on top of the map moved the map underneath and as a result showed the wrong forecast. Maybe it is possible to disable moving the map when the user taps / clicks on the forecast overlay. Then the behavior is perfect in both situations. Thank you!
