175 mph hurricane but app shows maximum 72 mph gusts

I found this to be the case over and over again with this app where the wind speeds shown in the app are far below what they actually are. Except in this case it's a hundred miles an hour less. What's up with that?

It is not an issue “with this app” but it is because weather models are not able to predict accurately the strongest wind of tropical cyclones.

Why is there such a spread in wind speeds?
Windy is showing Hurricane Milton at two vastly different wind speeds. Windy map gives Milton at 58kts and the Windy.com Hurricane track reports Milton at 135kts. I have the screenshot on my FB Page.
