Why is the GPS location so horribly inaccurate only in Windy?

90% of the time when I start Windy on my Android Galaxy S22 Ultra, it doesn't show the correct location at all, like off by a hundred miles. I have it set to GPS location. It's like it's not checking for GPS location on start-up. I have cleared cache, etc. When I hit find my location it does so, but I shouldn't have to do that every time when I already have my start-up location set to "use GPS" and yes it has permissions. This seems to be an issue specific to Windy. Please FIX!!! Thanks!
